Youth Shooting Sports at CGC

Cherokee Gun Club, with the help of adult members of BSA Troop 518, is able to offer young individuals and youth groups the chance to experience the shooting sports of their choice using some of the finest shooting venues available in Georgia. These facilities are offered at very low cost for the express purpose of introducing young people to the fun and excitement of shooting sports, in a safe, all-weather, outdoor environment. We typically shoot on the third Saturday of each month with a planned maximum of 20 shooters. Individuals can usually show up and shoot, but advance notice helps. To assure space for everyone, groups of 3 or more must make reservations in advance. If your youth group's needs extend beyound 15 shooters then special dates may be required. Shooting space for groups of 3 or more is reserved on a 'first come, first served' basis. CGC is able to offer facilities for .22 rifle, centerfire rifle, shotgun and other shooting sports with responsible adult coaching. See the link below for more details. And thanks for visiting !!
