1. The leadership of Troop 518 insists that each Scout should make every effort to attend Summer Camp. Summer Camp is an invaluable part of our training schedule, your Scout's advancement plan toward Eagle, and the most fun we have all year long. In short, it is very important that every Scout in Troop 518 attend Summer Camp. 2. Every parent should plan to spend at least 1 night at Summer Camp to enable them to fully understand how important Summer Camp is to the development of their son as a Scout. Troop 518 pays all costs for each adult attending Summer Camp. 3. Parents are required to supply all camp forms (see links below) and new Troop 518 medical forms for each Scout by June 1. Please be aware the BSA has a NEW medical form for 2010. Your Scout must have the 2010 BSA Medical Form, the 2010 CRM Medical Form, AND the Troop 518 Medical Waiver form. 4. Scouts go On-Line (link provided below) to reserve their own classes. First year Scouts will sign up for the "TNT Program" which fills most of their schedule. Second year Scouts will need to look over the available classes, make their own class schedule, and reserve 6 full class periods. Empty class periods are not allowed without a parent escorting the Scout during the empty class period(s). Contact Mr. Ken Patty for the ID and Password at 770-271-2522. 5. Be sure and present a copy of your completed class schedule to Mr. Patty, the official Troop 518 Summer Camp Advisor. Payment Schedule: Total Cost: $205 (Not Finalized) February 1 First payment due $75 per scout April 1 Second payment due $75 per scout June 1 Third payment due $55 per scout (Any payment arriving at the Jefferson BSA headquarters after the date shown above needs to include an additional $5 late fee) Summer Camp Document Links:
